Saint John girls to Alberta Open

Manitoba’s Provincial coach Michael Reid was looking for some female players from Atlantic Canada to round out his roster for the Nationals for 16U to be held in Quebec this May 9-12, 2013.

Saint John Water Polo coach Katinka Postma jump on this opportunity for her girls.
“This is a big step forward for our Saint John team and for Water Polo in Atlantic Canada”.

As a preliminary tournament for Nationals 5 of the Saint John 16U girls join the Manitoba Provincial team to play in the Alberta Open held on March 14-17, 2013.
This will give the girls two very high level tournaments to attend.

The 27th Annual Alberta Open is a BIG Tournament with 40 teams participating in different age groups (12U-14U-16U-18U) In 4 days a total of 109 games will be played in 3 different pools at the Talisman Centre in Calgary, Alberta.

Manitoba with the Saint John girls will play March 14 at 7pm, March 15 at 2pm and 8pm, March 16 at 11am and 2 pm and March 17 at 9:30am. Alberta time.
